We're takin' it to the city. We're bringin' it to your world. We're getting out the message. We're sending out the word. We feel so good, we feel so fine. Everything is ready, We've been working overtime. 1-2-3-4-5 and 6. Pushing all the buttons, Shaking up the mix. Oh-ho, Anything is possible. All the stories seen and read. Oh-ho, Everything is possible. In your town, you hear it said. We're takin' it to the country. We're bringin' it to your town. Makin' it easy for everyone to see, And put the money down. We feel so good, we feel so fine. Everything is ready, We've been working overtime. 1-2-3-4-5 and 6. Pushing all the buttons, Shaking up the mix Oh-ho, Anything is possible. All the stories seen and read. Oh-ho, Everything is possible. In your town, you hear it said. Oh-ho, Anything is possible. All the stories seen and read. Oh-ho, Everything is possible!

Hey there kids, it’s a rock ‘n roll party Everyone put on your glitter clothes! There’s an awesome band playin’ at the show club While you’re passin’ by, wave… don’t ya know? Four guys on the stage are sweatin’ You know they had to haul some heavy gear They had to be there early for a sound check They pay to play and have to buy their beer They wrote a bunch of songs for you They sent a bunch of emails for the show Now they’re singing for two drunks And a lady waiting for some food to go Hey there kids, it’s a rock ‘n roll party It’s something that you really ought to see If you go on in and pretend to pay attention The band will hand out CDs to you free The singer is so satisfied He’s happy that they finally hit their goal They have one hundred Facebook likes Someone streamed one of his tunes in Mexico They’re working on their chops, all right Their guitarist learned some jazz licks on the fly Listen to them sail now Here they go! Here they go! Check ‘em out! They’re waiting for that elusive call For that mega, outdoor college spring fest gig They paid to submit their MP3’s To an A&R consultant with the bigs Now they’re back in their hometown and giggin’ And hoping for a write up in a ‘zine But the paper threw away the disc And the critic doesn’t know about that scene And nobody cares about that frickin’ band Nobody cares about that frickin’ band Nobody cares about that frickin’ band Nobody cares about that frickin’ band

My Brother Said – Music and Lyrics by Tom Hedrick © 2015 Thomas B. Hedrick/Tom Hedrick Music (ASCAP) My Brother told me many times, “Don’t fill your mind with worry. Stop being so uptight, And talking through the night.” And in my heart I knew, He was right. My Brother said this once or twice. “Don’t let the small things bother you. There’s not much more that we can do, In these dark years we stumble through.” And in my heart I knew, It was true. Oh, it was true. My Brother said one summer day, As he was set to go away: “As I leave through this door, I think I’ll miss you more.” And in my heart I knew…

I Never Knew (I’d Be The Man) Music and Lyrics © 2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music - ASCAP Years ago, when I was very young I would coast through school and every afternoon I would never bother to compete, oh no. Every day, I'd lie around my room, to the glowing light of a bargain stereo. I would never bother to achieve, oh no. And my work was always incomplete. I would seldom give it a thought, 'cause I never had any plans. I never knew my destiny, was growing up to be the man. I never knew I'd be the man. I never knew I'd be the man. I was working for the man. And soon enough I was the man. I never knew I'd be the man. I never knew I'd be the man. Years ago, when I would drift about. I hesitated to commit at all. I would never go the extra mile, oh no. I would never try to win the heat. I would seldom give it a thought, 'cause I never had any plans. I never knew my destiny, was growing up to be the man. I never knew I'd be the man. I never knew I'd be the man.

Frequently 03:42
Frequently Music and Lyrics by Tom Hedrick © 1998, 2015 by Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music - ASCAP Frequently, I have lost all my nerve – Including the one that I had in reserve. Frequently, I have gone off the brink. At least, that is what I am willing to think. Frequently, the breakdown is near. Hand me a statuette. Hand me a beer. Frequently, I walk ‘round the block, And subject myself to a very frank talk. Frequently, I am making it up, Even the idle plans to disrupt. Frequently, I don’t know what to do, Although I have doubts that this really is true.

I Don’t Ask Anymore Music and Lyrics ©2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music - ASCAP Some of the time there is magic. Some of the time there is joy. Sometimes there’s glances and dances to share and avoid. Much of the time there is silence. Most of the days are the drill. Most of the hours are habits with outcomes to fill. And I don’t even ask anymore. I don’t ask if there’s love to spare. I don’t pretend there’s a notion of anyone there.

Holding U 00:53
Holding U Music and Lyrics © 2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music – ASCAP There’s a feeling late in the evening, I drink a glass of wine and I’m holding U. I look in your eyes and I say a few rhymes and I glance at the time and I’m holding U. It’s part of my charm, don’t set an alarm It’s long after dark and I’m holding U. Six hours from now when the new day dawns I’ll find all night I’ve been holding U. Be of good cheer, and savor your beer. After one or two I’ll be holding U. (Reprise) There’s a feeling, without any warning I find in the morning I’ve been holding U. With a night time gone by, How the calendar flies, I’m feeling alert, ‘cause I’m holding U. I walk down the hall, and I think of it all: Time after time I’ve been holding you. There’s no ounce of worry, sometimes I will hurry. A few minutes from now I’ll be holding U. Some of the time there is quiet. Some of the time there is cheer. Sometimes we cycle our moods and our habits each year. Much of the time there’s commotion. Much of the time there is love. Most of time the providence comes from above.

Issues With My Tissues Words and Music © 2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music - ASCAP I’ve got issues with my tissues. It’s no laughing matter. I’ve got issues with my tissues. Hey! Stop your clatter! The box is empty and I have a runny nose, And I have sore toes. I’ve got issues with my tissues! Honey baby! Honey lamb! I’ve got issues with my tissues, Issues with my tissues, And I’m blue.

Pancake Girl 02:11
Pancake Girl Music and Lyrics © 2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music - ASCAP Pancake Girl! My heart’s in a whirl! It’s ticking for ya guaranteed! Pankcake Girl! My heart’s in a whirl, And you’re the flippin’ one I need. Pancake Girl! You’re the hot oil, You’re the mama of the grill. Pancake Girl! Workin’ at the diner, I’m loitering at will! When I burned my hand cooking pancakes, I called the radio host. She said that I should get down there to you, and you make my cakes and toast. Pancake Girl! You’re the powered sugar! You’re the hottie syrup maid! Pancake Girl! You’re the morning special, No matter what else is said. Pancake Girl! My heart’s in a whirl! My lovin’ for you I can’t hide. Pancake Girl! You make me twirl, When you ask about my choice of side. When I thought of you and your apron, and your white paper hat, I just had to pass a note to you. It was plain as that. Pancake Girl! My heart’s in a whirl! It’s ticking for ya guaranteed! Pancake Girl! My heart’s in a whirl, And you’re the flippin’ one I need. Pancake Girl! You’re the hot oil, You’re the mama of the grill. Pancake Girl! Workin’ at the diner, I’m loitering at will When I couldn’t cook up my breakfast, I found a good excuse. Your my sunny side up over easy. You’re my pulpy orange juice! Pancake Girl! You’re the powered sugar! You’re the hottie syrup maid! Pancake Girl! You’re the morning special, No matter what else is said. Pancake Girl! My heart’s in a whirl! It’s ticking for ya guaranteed! Pancake Girl! My heart’s in a whirl, And you’re the flippin’ one I need.

The Gay Baker Music and Lyrics ©2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music - ASCAP I baked a cake of a Princess's palace. The next special order was shaped like a phallus. All patrons are welcome. I send none away. I am so happy. I am so gay. A three-tiered delight for the regional Nazis, Was paid in advance, and I said to them, "Grazie". For the Mormon's a pie like a big golden plate. I am so happy. I am so gay. A same sex confection with wedding bells, too. Old Testament cakes stating "Judges is True". I have no compunction, some people say. I am so happy. I am so gay. A chocolate surprise was well worth the waitin'. Its icing script clearly read, "Way to go, Satan". To me, all is fair. Free speech wins the day. I am so happy. I am so gay. My masterpiece - proudly - a cake diorama, of Boehner, McConnell, and Reid and Obama. Some people, they picket. I smile and I wave. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!! I am so happy. I am so gay.

Smoke and Vote Music and Lyrics ©2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music (ASCAP) In this dog’s world I’m just a slobbery ball, and a cherry shot is the barkeep’s call. Don’t tell me that it’s cheap stuff, ‘cause I’m wearing my silk. With a deck of cards and a plastic tumbler, about as safe as milk. You can crack your jokes about my overcoat. Over at the post I’m gonna smoke and vote. Gonna write down my name. Gonna be the Alley King, or the Laundry Minister. What’ya say to that, Mister?

Pinkee 02:16
Pinkee Music and Lyrics by Tom Hedrick © 2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music - ASCAP Pinkee – I saw you in that magazine, In photos where you make the scene,
In the uptown night. Oh, Pinkee – I sometimes get to see ya, With champaign and brie - a In starry sights I have seen you walk in early dawn. You don’t stifle a yawn. You sparkle on. Pinkee – the planets and the morning sun, For you would gladly come undone. You glimmer bright. I have watched you saunter down the pier, Nursing a beer. You sparkle on. Pinkee – at the afternoon tea. By the summer soft sea, The scribes will write.

I Wanna Be Your Towel Music and Lyrics by Tom Hedrick, © 2015 Thomas B. Hedrick / Tom Hedrick Music – ASCAP You’ve been such a friend – such a special friend. An inspiration to the end – such a special friend. What can I do for you? What can I do for you? You’ve filled me with a need to give you more. You’ve been such a pal – such a special pal. And you know you always shall – be my special pal. What can I do for you? What can I do for you? You’ve often pulled my spirits off the floor. I wanna be your towel. Please tell me it’s a deal. You’ve been my crying towel, For many, many years. And I want to return the favor. This feeling I will savor. Don’t sit there and pout! Let it all out! Weep or a cough – I’ll dry you off! No time to be shy! Let out a cry! Don’t fret if you’re wet! I’m here to dry!
